What’s the best way to prepare for the test?Updated 5 months ago
To prepare for the test, stop taking all supplements three days before testing.
If you have normal or irregular cycles, stop supplements on cycle day one and test on day three.
If you don’t have a cycle, stop supplements three days prior and test at any time.
If you've recently stopped birth control or are currently breastfeeding, wait three cycles before testing.
On the day of the test, make sure you're well-hydrated to help get the blood flowing. Some people even jump up and down or warm their hands to help with circulation before collecting their sample.
We recommend speaking with your doctor about your medication and treatment plan to ensure you're fully informed on how they may interact with your hormones. Always consult your healthcare provider before making any changes to your prescription medications.
