Can I take the test if I am on hormonal birth control?Updated 5 months ago

Yes, you can, but it may impact the accuracy of some of your results. Hormonal birth control can suppress FSH levels, making it difficult to get a reliable reading. TSH and Vitamin D levels are generally unaffected, though, and AMH may be temporarily lower for some people. For the most accurate results, we recommend waiting until you've had at least three regular menstrual cycles after stopping birth control before retesting.
